Lancaster links property and permit tools through MyGov
Lancaster’s official city website links its online permitting to MyGov. The city’s portal provides permit applications and an Address Lookup for activity at a location. It can be a useful starting point when gathering property records; it does not guarantee that a complete set of old solar plans will be available. Lancaster official MyGov portal. Create a small project file before the roof work
Collect the roof proposal, panel count, inverter or equipment model if known, monitoring screenshots, and available solar drawings or service records. Include the property address rather than only a city name. Ask the project team to confirm applicable requirements and keep permit references with the written solar scope for an easier handoff.
Missing installer records do not have to stop the first conversation
Tell us which records are missing and what you want done. Ground-level photos and accessible equipment labels can help start the review. If the system is leased or covered by a service agreement, identify who can authorize work. Equipment condition, ownership restrictions, and the proposed roof determine what else is needed before we confirm the job.
What does solar removal and reinstallation cost in Lancaster?

| 20 panels | $3,200–$4,400 |
