What to send when the system is unfamiliar
If you recently moved in or another company installed the system, send the equipment brand if known, accessible labels, ground-level roof photos, and any monitoring access you already have. Do not open electrical covers to find a model number. Tell us which details are missing so we can identify what needs review before the cleaning visit.
Confirm the work you want before booking
Ask for the panel count and cleaning scope to be clear in the quote. Mention staining, deposits, access restrictions, and any concerns that might need a different service. Ordinary cleaning, troubleshooting, and work beneath the array are separate tasks. The cleaning approach needs to be appropriate for the equipment and its applicable care instructions.
Build a useful before-and-after record
Save the cleaning date and available production history. Record visible condition from a safe location and note whether monitoring was functioning before the visit. A bright day after cleaning compared with a cloudy day before does not isolate the cleaning benefit. Use comparable conditions and a realistic observation period before assigning dollar savings to the service.
What cleaning can recover
Cleaning can address output lost to surface buildup; the benefit varies by array. Research does not establish a guaranteed savings percentage for your home.
