One project, clearly defined stages
Detach and reset is another term used for solar removal and reinstallation. Ask whether the quote includes both stages, storage arrangements, replacement mounting materials, and the agreed system checks. Removal-only pricing is a different scope.
Our removal and reinstallation rate is $160–$220 per panel. For example, a 20-panel array is $3,200–$4,400. The written quote confirms the rate and included scope; additional repairs are separately approved.
How do I estimate my actual panel count?
Use the actual number of panels at $160–$220 each for removal and reinstallation. A 29-panel array is $4,640–$6,380. For partial removal or a changed layout, send photos so we can define the work before quoting.
How do I compare two quotes?
Check that both cover the same panels, removal and reinstallation, access, storage, materials, checks, and any additional visits. A lower total for a different scope is not a like-for-like comparison. Ask each contractor to identify what is excluded.

What does the $200 service deposit cover?
A $200 nonrefundable service deposit covers the on-site visit and initial assessment for repair, diagnostic, and maintenance requests. If you approve repairs, the $200 is credited toward the total. If you decline repairs, the fee is retained for the visit and assessment. Additional work is quoted for approval.
How is the deposit applied to a repair?
If the approved total is $450, your $200 deposit is credited toward it and the remaining balance is $250. If you decline the repair, the $200 is retained for the visit and initial assessment.
Is there a travel fee?
No. There is no travel fee within our confirmed service area. Share your address so we can confirm scheduling.
Does the service deposit buy a warranty?
No. The deposit pays for the service visit and initial assessment. If your concern may be covered by an existing Sun Ray Solutions workmanship warranty, contact us with your agreement and describe the issue so we can review it as a warranty claim.
