Tell us your tear-off date and we schedule removal for the day before or the morning of. Your crew arrives to a clear, ready deck. When you call the roof complete, we come back for the reinstall.
Two ways to bill it
Direct to the homeowner: we quote and invoice them, you stay out of the money. Simplest arrangement and the one most roofers start with.
Through you: we invoice you at trade pricing, you carry it in your scope and mark it up. Cleaner for the customer, one contract, and it makes your bid look complete against a competitor who's telling the homeowner “you'll need to find someone for the panels.”

What we do that protects you
- We carry our own liability and workers' comp. Certificate of insurance on request, for your file and your GL carrier.
- We photograph and map the array before anything moves. If a panel was already cracked, it's documented before your crew ever set foot on the roof. That documentation protects both of us.
- New flashing on every reinstall. We are not putting old, compromised flashing back through your brand new roof. Your workmanship warranty stays intact.
- We commission the system. We confirm it's producing before we leave, so the homeowner never calls you three weeks later about their electric bill.
- We don't sell solar. We're not going to your customer's door with a proposal. We do service work only.

Do you work as a subcontractor for roofing companies?
Yes. That is a large part of what we do. We can invoice the homeowner directly so you stay out of the money, or invoice you at trade pricing so you can carry the panel work inside your own scope and present a single contract to the customer.
Can my roofing crew remove the solar panels ourselves?
Physically possible, but it exposes you to real risk. Arrays carry live DC voltage, and panel, inverter, and racking manufacturers all have terms about who is permitted to service the equipment. If a component fails later, the homeowner's warranty claim can be denied and the conversation comes back to you. Most established roofers subcontract this work for exactly that reason.
How fast can you get to a job during storm season?
Quotes from photos usually go out same day or next business day, and we schedule removal around your tear-off date. Storm season fills up quickly for every trade, so the roofers who reliably get the dates they want are the ones who contact us when they bid the job rather than the morning of tear-off.
Will you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes. We carry liability and workers' compensation coverage and will provide a certificate of insurance for your project file or your general liability carrier on request.
Do you solicit our customers for solar sales?
No. We do not sell or install new solar systems at all. We are a service contractor only, so there is no scenario where we show up at your customer's door with a proposal.
What if the homeowner's system is leased or on a PPA?
Tell us up front. Leased and power-purchase-agreement systems are owned by the finance company, which may control who is allowed to work on the equipment and may have its own removal procedure and fees. It is usually still workable, but it needs to be identified early so it does not blow up your schedule.
