Decide what the battery should accomplish

Tell us whether your priority is keeping selected appliances available during an outage, using stored solar energy later, or reviewing both goals. List what you consider essential and what you could leave off. Those choices help define the scope of the proposal.

If the existing solar system has an unresolved fault, mention that first. Adding storage and restoring a faulty generating system are separate work items, even when you want them handled in one project.

Identify the system already installed

Do not open electrical enclosures or share monitoring passwords. If model details are missing, start with the information visible in your app or records. We can identify what still needs an on-site review.

  • Inverter and monitoring equipment brand and model, if known.
  • Panel count, original plans, and equipment list if available.
  • Any existing battery, generator, or transfer equipment.
  • A recent production screenshot and known equipment alerts.
  • Accessible exterior photos of the equipment and proposed battery area.

Get pricing after the compatibility review

Battery retrofits receive a project-specific quote. A battery’s advertised equipment price does not establish the installed price for your property. The proposal needs to describe the complete work and any exclusions.
