Send the symptom and equipment details

Include the inverter brand and model if known, the exact alert, when the issue began, and the last period of normal production. Mention recent outages, roof work, router changes, or earlier service visits.

Share a monitoring screenshot with its timestamp. Missing or old app data can require a different investigation from a confirmed equipment failure. Do not repeatedly reset breakers, remove covers, or buy parts based solely on an online diagnosis.

Use the assessment to define the next step

Sun Ray’s on-site visit and initial assessment requires a $200 nonrefundable service deposit. The deposit is credited toward approved repairs; if you decline repairs, it is retained for the visit and assessment.

If replacement is recommended, ask what findings support it, which exact equipment is proposed, and what else changes in the system. Diagnosis does not mean every replacement part or additional repair is included in the initial fee.

Keep equipment coverage and labor separate

A manufacturer may have its own process for reviewing a product claim. Do not assume an equipment warranty pays every diagnostic, labor, shipping, or additional-material cost. Ask the relevant provider for its terms and keep the repair quote separate.

Sun Ray does not advertise universal model support or automatic warranty approval. Send the existing equipment information and service need so compatibility, parts availability, scope, and scheduling can be confirmed before work is accepted.
